This policy covers what HAVN collects, why, and how it's handled. It applies to the HAVN app and website.

Account info: the email and PIN you sign up with, and the username you choose.

Profile content: anything you add yourself — profile photo, posts, tags, comments, and messages to friends, tribes, or merchants.

Location: only if you turn on "Use my location" (it's off by default, and you can turn it off any time in Location & privacy), we use your device's GPS on the Home map and in HAVN World — only while the app is open. It's how you see yourself on the map and claim nearby drops. We never track your location in the background, and elsewhere in the app (nearby places, tribes, events) we just use the neighborhood you tell us you're in.

Activity: places you visit and unlock, events you RSVP to, friend connections, and your Acorn (rewards) balance and history.

Payments: when you pay a merchant through HAVN, the payment itself is handled by our payment partner, FINAP — we pass them your HAVN customer ID so the payment can be linked back to your account, but we don't store your card or bank details ourselves.

To run the app: your account, balance, and activity have to be stored somewhere for HAVN to work at all. To show you relevant places, tribes, and events near you. To pay out rewards and referral bonuses correctly. To keep the app safe — including responding to reports of abuse or harassment.

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

Supabase hosts our database and file storage — your account data lives on their infrastructure, encrypted in transit.

FINAP processes merchant payments made through HAVN, as described above.

Other HAVN users can see what you choose to make public — your username, public posts/tags, and public events you host or attend. Friends can see more (like DMs between you). We never share your email or PIN with other users.

You can edit or remove your profile photo and posts at any time. You can leave a tribe or unfriend someone at any time. To close your account or request a copy or deletion of your data, contact us at the email below — we'll confirm what's involved for your specific account.

HAVN is only for people 18 or older. Sign-up checks date of birth and blocks anyone under 18 from creating an account. If you believe someone under 18 has an account, contact us at the email below and we'll investigate and remove it.

These terms cover your use of the HAVN app, the ACORN app, and related services (together, "HAVN"). By creating an account, you agree to them.

You must be 18 or older to create an account. Sign-up checks your date of birth and blocks anyone under 18. You're responsible for keeping your account email and PIN confidential, and for everything that happens under your account.

Acorns are a loyalty reward you earn through activity in the app — they are never sold or purchased, and they can't be cashed out or exchanged for money. Acorns have no published cash exchange rate; what an Acorn is worth is always set by the specific merchant offer you redeem it against.

When you redeem Acorns at a merchant, that merchant covers the cost of the offer — HAVN doesn't reimburse merchants or move money as part of a redemption. We can change how Acorns are earned, their values, or retire the program, with notice in the app.

Payments you make to merchants through HAVN are processed by our payment partner, FINAP. We pass FINAP your HAVN customer ID to link the payment to your account — we don't store your card or bank details ourselves. FINAP's own terms apply to the payment itself.

You keep ownership of photos, posts, and messages you post, but you give HAVN a license to display them in the app (e.g., to merchants reviewing a post for Acorn payouts, or to other users per your privacy settings). Don't post anything illegal, harassing, or that you don't have the rights to. Don't use HAVN to defraud merchants or other users — including fake check-ins, fake posts for Acorn payouts, or abusing the referral/onboarding rewards.

If you use HAVN as a merchant or list a brand on the Marketplace, separate merchant terms (covering fees, revenue share, and offer obligations) apply in addition to this section. Using the "Switch to a business account" option in Account settings doesn't itself make those terms effective — our team will follow up with the actual merchant agreement.

We can suspend or close an account that violates these terms, defrauds merchants or other users, or creates a safety risk. You can stop using HAVN and ask us to delete your account any time via Account settings or by contacting us below.

HAVN is provided "as is." We don't guarantee any particular Acorn value, merchant availability, or uninterrupted access to the app. To the extent allowed by law, HAVN isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

We may update these terms as the product changes. We'll update the date above when we do; continuing to use HAVN after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Questions about these terms: privacy@wearehavn.com.

Off until you turn it on. When on, we use your device's GPS on the Home map and in HAVN World — only while the app is open. It's how you see yourself on the map and claim nearby drops. We never track your location in the background. Turn it off any time and we stop using it right away.

Everywhere else (nearby places, tribes, events), we just use the neighborhood you tell us you're in — never your exact spot.

Sharing your neighbourhood with a Tribez is a separate, per-tribe choice — off by default, turned on from that Tribez's own screen, and only ever shows the area you're in, never an exact location.

When on, only people you've connected with can see your full profile, posts, and tribe memberships.

Answer the interests/lifestyle questions again from scratch — useful if what you're into has changed.

Confirming your email helps us reach you if you ever need to recover your account.

Your email and PIN are how you log into HAVN on any device.

Only friends can see their Acorns, posts and Tribe. Send a friend request and they can let you in.

No rewards are live yet. Places add them from HAVN Merchant — check back soon.

Neighbourhood

Go in and buy something today for a small thank-you. Bring the owner into HAVN for the real reward — that's what actually convinces a place to join.
